73rd Golden Globes Winners

With just three days to go before Oscar nominations are announced, the awards pictures became a bit clearer after yesterday’s Golden Globes Awards. There weren’t too many big surprises in the film categories with The Revenant winning three awards including Best Picture, Director, and Actor in a Drama. Brie Larson took home the Best Actress in a Drama award, beating out Saoirse Ronan, Cate Blanchett, Rooney Mara, and Alicia Vikander in what might be the closest acting race this year. The Martian and Steve Jobs both won two awards while Carol, which has been a heavy favourite this year, was shut out in its categories.
