Man dies of injuries after being hit by car

A 62-year old man who was hit by a car in downtown Hamilton last week has died.

The crash happened just before 4 p.m. last Monday on York Boulevard near Hess Street.

Police have interviewed the 22-year old driver of the car and several witnesses, but haven’t provided any details on what happened. Speed and alcohol are not believed to be factors in the incident.

Police are still looking to speak with more witnesses.
