The Single Mom’s Club

The Single Mom’s Club is the latest comedy from Tyler Perry. The film stars Nia Long, Amy Smart, Wendi McLendon-Covey, Cocoa Brown, and Zulay Henao as the single moms of children all attending the same school. When the kids get into trouble, the moms are called in and told that they must organize a dance and fundraiser for the school in exchange for their children escaping any real punishment. The group quickly form a support group and confide in each other the difficulties of raising kids and dating as a single mom.

“I wrote The Single Moms Club as a celebration of single mothers and the men in their lives who lend a helping hand,” Perry says. “It’s about taking a minute and saying, ‘Thank you,’ and paying homage to their effort and love and everything they do each and every day.”

The Single Mom’s Club is rated PG.
