Alan Partridge

In Alan Partridge, Steve Coogan brings his most memorable character to the big screen for the first time. This time around, the TV personality finds himself working at a small town radio station that is being taken over by a national corporation. Casualties of the takeover include Pat, the late night DJ, who decides to take his frustration out on his former colleagues by holding the station hostage. Considering him a close friend, Pat convinces Alan to help negotiate with the police, but what he doesn’t know is that Alan actually had a hand in his firing.

Coogan’s performances as Partridge on British TV have earned him 2 BAFTA Awards for Best Comedy Performance. Alan Partridge was released last year and debuted at number one at the UK Box Office, beating Percy Jackson: Sea of Monsters and Grown Ups 2.
