I, Frankenstein

I, Frankenstein stars Aaron Eckhart as the titular monster. In the dystopian future, a war is brewing between groups of gargoyles and demons, led by the nefarious Naberius (Bill Nighy), and Frankenstein finds himself caught in the middle. Both groups want to learn the secrets to his immortality, but he won’t go down without a fight.

If the plot to I, Frankenstein sounds familiar, it’s probably because it was written by one of the co-creators of the Underworld franchise. Although it’s not definitively set in the same universe, there are whispers that a crossover could happen. The film is based off of a graphic novel created by Kevin Grevioux, who had a hand in writing and producing the Underworld films and had small roles in them as well. I, Frankenstein also stars Yvonne Strahovski (Chuck, Dexter), Miranda Otto (Lord of the Rings), and Jai Courtney (A Good Day to Die Hard).

I, Frankenstein is rated PG.
