The Crash Reel

Lucy Walker’s documentary The Crash Reel focuses on snowboarder Kevin Pearce. Once a rival with Shaun White on the pro circuit, Pearce suffered a traumatic brain injury while training for the Vancouver olympics.

With his family at his side, the film follows Kevin’s recovery, and his desire to return to the slopes despite doctor’s warnings that a hard knock to his head could be fatal.

A film with a great soundtrack & message, its bound to get audiences pumped for the upcoming Winter Olympics.

The Crash Reel played at festivals across the globe where it picked up great reviews from critics.
