The second feature film from actor turned director Peter Stebbings, Empire of Dirt is a family portrait of mothers and daughters. Starring Cara Gee as Lena, a teen runaway, who now in her 30s returns home for a  fresh start after her teenage daughter, Peeka, ODs. Not only must she introduce her daughter to her past but Lena also has to reunite with everyone she left behind, including her own mother.
