Calgary Zoo reopens

Animals are beginning to return to the Calgary Zoo over a month after massive flooding.
About 30% of the zoo has reopened to the public, but the rest won’t be open until December.
The zoo had to move 160 animals to higher ground during the worst of the flooding. Zoo officials say the disaster cost them around $50 million in both repairs and lost revenue per day.
They lost $160 thousand each day they were closed.
