O.J. Simpson granted parole
O.J. Simpson has been granted parole on some charges stemming from his 2008 kidnappings and armed robbery convictions.
He still won’t be getting out of jail any time soon. The Nevada Board of Parole Commissioners approved the request because Simpson has no prior convictions and participated in programs in prison.
Simpson still faces at least 4 more years in jail on other charges. He is serving a maximum 33 year sentence for his role in a hotel robbery.
He claims he was recovering his own property from sports memorabilia dealers.
