A Pennsylvania judge has ordered three former Penn State officials to stand trial as part of the Jerry Sandusky sex abuse scandal.

The judge ruled that there is sufficient evidence to try the former Penn State officials for a cover-up in the scandal. During testimony given today by a computer forensics official, the court learned that emails were retrieved that showed university officials were aware of complaints about Sandusky in 1998 and 2001.

Former Penn State president Graham Spanier, retired vice president Gary Shultz, and ex-athletic director Tim Curley will now stand trial.
