Time running out for missing Canadian

Despite desperate pleas from his family in Canada, the Australian Defence Force will not join the search for 25-year old Prabhdeep Srawn.
Srawn used to live in Stoney Creek and moved to Australia to study. He went missing after he embarked on a hike almost two weeks ago.
Rescue crews have been searching for him using heat sensing technology and helicopters. This week, MP Bob Rae wrote a letter to Minister of Foreign Affairs, John Baird, asking for increased efforts. Rae wants Baird to convince the Australian Defence Force to join search.
Unfortunately, temperatures on the mountain where Srawn disappeared are dropping below freezing and search crews worry time has run out.
His family back home is holding out hope and continues to rally support online. Srawn trained with the Canadian Armed forces and has extensive survival knowledge.
