Brock wins wrestling gold

A member of the Brock University wrestling club has won gold at the Women’s World Wrestling Championships.

Jessica MacDonald of Windsor, is Brock’s first ever world champion.

She won the world title in the 51 kilogram weight class last night in Alberta.

This is MacDonald’s second straight world championship medal.

She won bronze in Istanbul last year.

She also took home a bronze medal at the 2010 Commonwealth Games in New Delhi.
