Lawsuit on G20 anniversary

Activist suing Toronto police even though G20 Summit related charges against him were dropped.
Julian Ichim is suing the police service and an undercover OPP officer on the second anniversary of the world leaders gathering that’s best remembered for the violence.
He says he was targeted because of his political views and not because of the violence.
Ichim claims he was beaten when he was arrested for conspiring to do property damage and obstruct police.
He’s seeking $4-million in damages but says it’s more about accountability than money.
