Mothers speak out

Two women who lost their sons in a deadly van crash in New Brunswick are speaking out.

Four years ago, eight people, including seven members of a high school basketball team, were killed in a crash in Bathurst.

The team was in a 15-passenger van, similar to the one involved in last night’s crash.

The mothers are making another plea to stop using 15 passenger van service to transport students in PEI and New Brunswick.

On their website, the women say nothing has been learned from the crash that killed their boys and they say the vans are “death traps”.
