VIDEO: Toronto police are expected to give and update in the murders of billionaires Barry and Honey Sherman today (Dec. 14, 2021).
The press conference is scheduled to begin at 11 a.m. and will involve Det. Sgt. Brandon Price of the homicide squad.
Four years ago, Barry and Honey Sherman were found on the deck of their North York home’s indoor pool hanging by belts from a railing.
An autopsy on the Sherman’s revealed they both died of ligature neck compression. Police classified it as a double homicide.
To date, no arrests have been made.
The Sherman family offered a $10 million reward for information on who killed the couple in 2018.
Police said they had identified a person of interest in November 2020, but did not name the individual.
Barry Sherman formed the generic pharmaceutical company Apotex. His net worth at the time of his death was around $4 billion.
