Sensitive Santa is coming back to the County of Brant

Sensitive Santa is coming back to the County of Brant.
The program offers a sensory-friendly visit with the man in red himself.
This year’s event will take place on Dec. 11 at Sensity at 50 Main St. in Paris, Ont.
“Sensitive Santa is for those who would love to visit with Santa but require a quieter, sensory friendly environment,” said Sheena Yarek Snyder, Supervisor of Public Transportation and Accessibility Services. “The lights are dim, there is no music playing and Santa does not wear any bells or speak in a loud voice. Also, there are no line ups that can be challenging for many families on this special day. The focus of Sensitive Santa is to allow children, who have sensory sensitivities, a quiet and calm space to enjoy a magical moment with the big guy.”
Sensitive Santa is free of charge and is hosted in partnership by the County of Brant, City of Brantford and Sensity.
It is reserved for children in the County of Brant and City of Brantford who require a sensory-friendly environment.
Space is limited so residents are being asked to register early.
Those who are 12 years of age and older are required to show proof of vaccination to attend the event.
