Burlington lift bridge will be closed on Thursday

The Burlington Canal Lift Bridge will be closed on Thursday.

All lanes on the bridge will be closed to motorists in both directions between 7 a.m. and 5 p.m.

The bridge will remain open to pedestrians and marine traffic will not be affected.

Last month, Public Services and Procurement Canada said there would be intermittent shutdowns of the bridge until Nov. 15 while crews do repair work.
