Cyclist in hospital after being struck in hit-and-run: Hamilton police

Hamilton police are appealing to the public for information after a cyclist was struck in a hit-and-run overnight.
Officers were called to Woodward Ave. near Walmer Rd. around 2:30 a.m. Friday for reports of a collision.
Police say a man and woman travelling on bikes were heading southbound on Woodward Ave. in the bicycle lane when a vehicle going in the same direction struck the man.
They say the vehicle did not stop at the scene.
The man was taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Investigators are still looking into details about the vehicle and its driver.
Police are asking residents in the area to check their cameras to see if they captured anything that could help investigators identify the vehicle and driver involved in the collision.
