A former Hamilton teacher and youth baseball coach is facing additional sex charges, three months after he was arrested for child luring.

John Douglas Hashimoto was arrested again on June 30 and charged with two counts each of sexual assault and sexual interference.

Police say the charges stem from two separate historical sexual assaults.

Back in April, Hashimoto was charged by Halton police with luring a child under 16 years and invitation to sexual touching.

At the time, investigators said the 57-year-old man was communicating online using the name David or David 46.
