The City says they have been working closely with the Ministry since the summer of 2018 to investigate and remediate the spill, and apologizes for its actions and the undue impact on the natural environment.

VIDEO: A new study suggests the city may have to invest more than $200 million on Chedoke’s watersheds, which also includes the clean-up of Chedoke Creek. Staff members presented a water quality study to city council Monday. The director of Hamilton Water says the jump from the initial estimate of $150 million is a result of additional improvements. Manesa Dhanabalan reports.
