Ontario releases list of pharmacies offering second AstraZeneca dose

The province has released a list of pharmacies that will administer second doses to those who received an AstraZeneca vaccine between Mar. 10 and Mar. 19.
Last week, the province announced it was offering second doses to people who got their first shot within in those nine days.
People that choose to go forward with the second dose will be getting it earlier than the recommended 12-week interval.
According to the province, receiving a second vaccine dose between 10 and 12 weeks provides an estimated 69 per cent protection.
Ontario has about 55,000 doses of the AstraZeneca vaccine set to expire at the end of the month.
The list of 162 pharmacies can be found here.
Some primary care facilities will also be administering the shot.
The City of Hamilton has said it will hold a special clinic for people that got their first dose within the noted time-frame and want to get their second dose early.
