The RCMP is warning people about a Grey Cup ticket scam.

Police say fraudsters are selling fake tickets to Sunday’s game between the Ticats and Roughriders. The scammers tell people to pay for tickets through email or wire transfer, and then buyers never hear from them again. Police say some people have also received fake tickets in the mail. The best way to avoid being scammed is to buy tickets directly from the CFL or the Roughriders website. Anyone who has been a victim of a Grey Cup ticket scam is asked to call police.
