Halton police search for man in connection with armed robbery in Milton

Halton police are investigating after a Subway restaurant in Milton was robbed at knife-point.

Police say it happened at the store located on Ontario St. S, near Laurier Ave., around 8:45 p.m. on Monday.

They say a man walked into the store and confronted the employee with a large knife and demanded money.

He walked out of the store with the cash and fled through the plaza parking lot.

Police say the employee was not physically injured and there were no other customers in the store at the time.
