Hamilton’s Wild Waterworks to remain closed for the 2021 season

Hamilton’s Wild Waterworks will remain closed for the 2021 season due to COVID-19.
City council has decided to keep the popular waterpark, located at Confederation Park, closed for a second season.
The Hamilton Conservation Authority, which runs the park on behalf of the city, says reopening at a reduced capacity would cost too much money.
It would also be difficult to socially distance in the wave pool.
Planned repairs and upgrades are expected to continue.
