Man in critical condition after Ridgeway shooting: Niagara police

Niagara police are searching for three men in connection with a shooting in Ridgeway Wednesday night.

Officers were called to the area of Ridge Rd. N and Hibbard St. around 11:45 p.m. for a report of a shooting.

They found a 23-year-old man with a gunshot wound. He was taken to an out-of-region hospital where he remains in critical condition.

Detectives are looking for three men — two were dressed in black clothing, the third was wearing a red hoodie.

Police say they are actively investigating and are asking residents and businesses to check their surveillance cameras for suspicious activity.

They say they believe this is a targeted incident.
