Hamilton man arrested and charged in Waterdown stabbing: police

A Hamilton man has been arrested in what police say was an unprovoked stabbing in Waterdown last week.

A man was found with serious injuries after a stabbing in the area of Main St. N and John St. E the night of Monday Mar. 22.

Officers executed a search warrant the following Monday and arrested a 33-year-old Hamilton man.

He’s been charged aggravated assault and assault with a weapon.

Police say the man is due in court Tuesday afternoon.
