Halton police searching for dark-coloured SUV in Oakville shooting

Halton police are searching for a dark-coloured SUV in connection with a weekend shooting in Oakville.

Police were called to a home on The Greenery, near Munn’s Ave. and Sixth Line, around 2:40 a.m. on Saturday for reports of gunfire.

A woman was taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Police have said this was a targeted shooting and there is no threat to the public.

They’re asking residents in the area of Sixth Line, between Upper Middle Rd. and Dundas St., to review video surveillance between 1 a.m. and 3 a.m. on Saturday.

Anyone with footage of a dark-coloured SUV between in that time is asked to call police at 905-825-4777 ext. 2216.
