Police investigating after two teens shot with BB gun at St. Catharines park

Niagara police are investigating after two teens were shot with a BB gun at Joe McCaffery Park in St. Catharines.

Police were called to the park around 9 p.m. on Thursday. They say around 8:45 p.m. four teens who were in the park on the play equipment noticed a dark-coloured SUV enter the park.

The SUV parked with its headlights shining on the teens.

After a few minutes, two of the teens were hit with BBs fired from the direction of the SUV.

Police say the teens suffered minor injuries but declined medical treatment.

Police believe at least ten shots were fired.
