COVID-19 vaccine available to people 70 and older in Hamilton and Niagara

Ten more public health units in Ontario are lowering the minimum age for vaccine appointments.
As of 8 a.m. Monday several regions, including Hamilton and Niagara, will allow those 70 years and older to book their shots through the provincial online booking system and call centre.
Halton residents 70 and older are also able to book a vaccine but the region uses its own booking system.

Vaccine booking in Brant is also open to residents 70 and older. The Haldimand and Norfolk Health Unit is booking residents 75 and older but there is a waitlist for people 70-74.
Meanwhile, vaccine bookings are open for everyone 18 and older in Six Nations of the Grand River.
The minimum age remains 75 in much of the province.
Toronto will open two additional mass vaccination sites as well as a drive-thru site at Canada’s Wonderland in Vaughan.

Do not have access to the internet or a computer
Have a red and white health card
Do not have an Ontario health card
Are Indigenous
Want to book an appointment at one of the mobile pop-up clinics
