The pandemic has highlighted long-standing health inequities in the community. Right now the city of Hamilton’s “Board of Health” is comprised of the mayor and councillors. That’s why residents and health care professionals are calling on the city to restructure the board to ensure experts who represent all walks of life in Hamilton are included. Nicole Martin reports.
