Premier Doug Ford is holding a news conference Wednesday afternoon.

Ford will be joined by Dr. Merrilee Fullerton, Minister of Long-Term Care, and Ross Romano, Minister of Colleges and Universities.

The update is scheduled to begin at 1 p.m.

It comes as the province reported 1,054 cases of COVID-19 and nine deaths.
