Ancaster hardest hit in Hamilton area

In the Hamilton area, Ancaster seems to have gotten the worst damage from the weekend’s ice storm.

Residents are still cleaning up fallen branches and trees. Many fallen limbs snatched power from thousands of homes, and some are also dealing with damage to their vehicles after high winds caused trees and branches to fall on top of them. Some residents are beginning the cleanup themselves, but safety is still a major concern.

The City of Hamilton is working overtime to have everything cleaned up.
