Woman flees Niagara-on-the-Lake blaze

A woman escaped from a house fire without injuries in Niagara-on-the-Lake late last night.

Firefighters were called to Tuscany Court just before midnight where heavy smoke was billowing from the home. The fire was put out quickly.

The cause is believed to be electrical. They haven’t come up with a damage estimate yet, but the smoke and fire damage is extensive.
