Ford: ‘enough is enough’

Toronto mayor Rob Ford continues his war of words and says he plans to take legal action against former staffers and a waiter for their allegations that were part of police documents released yesterday.

This morning at Toronto city hall, the mayor stunned reporters when he addressed allegations of bringing prostitutes into the office. He crudely denied the allegations that he made lewd comments to a female staffer, describing that he’s happily married.

At city council this morning, Ford’s lewd and graphic language raised criticism from other councillors, but Ford says he’s fed up.

“No one is going to accuse me of having escorts, or doing lines of cocaine at a bar, and former staffers saying that I’m making sexual advances to my other staffers. I’m not going to put up with it. My wife is well aware of it, and I’m not going to put up with it.”

“Unfortunately I’m have to take legal action and that’s exactly what I’m going to do. Enough, is enough guys. Enough is enough. OK, so if you’re offended, I’m not apologizing because put yourself in my shoes. If somebody said that about your husband, or your wife councillor Davis., OK? Enough is enough.”

This morning, Ford also admitted to drinking and driving.

Meanwhile Seth Meyers, co-anchor of Weekend Update on Saturday Night Live promised this morning that Ford would be a target on this week’s show.
