Loblaw cuts 275 jobs

Loblaw is cutting 275 jobs from its payroll.

Reports say the food retailer is axing 200 positions at its head office in Brampton.

Most of those jobs are in administrative and management positions. In its last quarter, the company’s earnings jumped 14 point 5 per cent.

The company says they are making the cuts in order to stay competitive.
