Man survives Upper James crash

A man in his 80’s is lucky to escape with his life after emergency crews had to cut him out of a car that was crushed by a crane Thursday afternoon in Mount Hope. That person is in hospital with serious injuries. The crane operator was not hurt.  Traffic is being detoured around Upper James and Airport Road, and police are warning people to avoid that area.  No word if charges will be laid.
