Serious injuries in Fort Erie crash

A driver in Fort Erie has been airlifted to Hamilton General Hospital, after crashing into a tree.

It happened just after noon on Concession Street. Police say the car was going well above the posted 50 kilometre an hour speed limit.

They say the driver lost control and slammed into the tree. It took a while to remove him from the mangled wreckage.
