Warrant issued by Peel Police

Peel police have issued an arrest warrant for a 27-year old male who fled from police in a stolen vehicle, became involved in a collision and stole a second vehicle to escape.

Police say Thursday afternoon, 27-year old Jerome Jackson was able to escape from custody, after a collision with other vehicles. That vehicle was stolen. He then stole the vehicle of a good samaritan, who had stopped to help. He’s currently facing eight charges, including assaulting a peace officer.
