Hamiltonians killed in London-area crash

Two Hamilton residents were killed in a weekend crash near London.

Ontario Provincial Police have identified the victims as Johnathan Smith, 31, and Patricia Griffin, 30. Police say Smith was driving the SUV that went out of control in southwest Middlesex county and struck two trees.

Neither victim was wearing a seat belt and both were thrown from the vehicle. A dog in the vehicle was also ejected and died of its injuries.
