International Space Station to pass over Hamilton

You have a chance to spot the International Space Station as it passes over Southern Ontario over the next week or so.

The best chance will be around 9 tonight when the station will be in the southwestern sky, moving to the east north east. It will take just 6 minutes to cross the sky, so experts suggest you don’t use binoculars or a telescope because it’ll be moving so fast.

The hamilton amateur astronomers will host a public watch at Binbook Conservation Area Sunday night, starting at 8, but if you want to track it yourself, you can sign up to get an email or text message directly from NASA a few hours ahead of time.
