QEW accident victim dies
The woman thrown from the back of a motorcycle on the QEW Thursday afternoon, has died from her injuries.
The 54-year old woman was a passenger on the bike that clipped a minivan at Thompson Road in Fort Erie. The driver of the bike wasn’t seriously injured, but the woman was found lying unconscious on the road after the incident. She was rushed to the trauma unit at a Buffalo Hospital where she later died. The highway was closed for hours while OPP investigated.
