Paul Bernardo requests prison transfer

Serial killer Paul Bernardo has reportedly applied for a prison transfer.

He wants to be moved out of maximum security at Kingston Penitentiary to a medium security prison. He’s reportedly hoping to be sent to “Bath Institution”, a new condo-style facility being built near Kingston.

Kingston Penitentiary won’t be housing prisoners much longer.

Reports say Bernardo is trying to get his security status lowered to avoid being sent to Quebec.

He’s serving a life sentence for the murders of three teenage girls, Leslie Mahaffy, Kristen French, and Tammy Homolka, all murders he committed with his wife, Karla Homolka.
