The weather may be hot, but heading to a nearby beach could bring you some relief. According to The Waterkeeper Swim Guide,  there are a number of beaches that are safe to swim in the area.

In the Hamilton area:

  • Bayfront, Hamilton, closed and unsafe for swimmers
  • Confederation Park, Hamilton, open
  • Van Wagner’s Beach, Hamilton, open
  • Beach Park, Hamilton, open
  • Binbrooke Conservation, open
  • Christie Lake Conservation area, Dundas, open
  • Beachway Park, Burlington, closed

In Grimsby:

  • Fifty Point Beach, Grimsby, open
  • Nelles Park Beach, Grimsby, open

In Oakville:
