Steelworkers review U.S. Steel offer

The United Steelworkers union representing workers at the U.S. Steel plant in Nanticoke is reviewing the latest contract offer from the company since the workers were locked out three months ago.

Bill Ferguson, president of the union local says his executive is still looking over the deal, but is optimistic an agreement will be reached through negotiations.

U.S Steel says it wants nothing more than a competitive agreement. The Lake Erie Steelworkers were locked out in late April .
