The Ontario government has slashed funding for the city of Toronto.

Finance Minister Charles Sousa informed the city that funding would be cut by $150-million next year. Councillor Doug Ford says the cut will hurt Toronto’s most vulnerable and is urging the province to reconsider. Friday morning, Ontario Premier Kathleen Wynne commented saying the 150-million was never meant to be permanent.
