Tim Bosma’s widow says she is struggling to talk about her husband’s abduction and murder to the media, but she is doing it so her husband is not forgotten.

CHCH’s Nick Dixon talked to Sharlene Bosma in her Ancaster home on Friday.

Sharlene: “People remember the names of Robert Pickton & colonel Russell Williams, and they remember Paul Bernado, and they remember Michael Rafferty, and in the states as well. Who did they kill?”

Nick Dixon: “I can tell you because I’m in the media obviously but I think you’re right. I get your point.”

Sharlene: “But there is out of that, you remember Leslie Mahaffy, Kristen French and Tori Stafford, because of their families. Because of their parents, you remember them. I remember them. They had a huge impact on me, because of their families. I don’t want Tim to be, ‘Oh, yeah, that guy. What was his name?'”

“I’m not OK with that, because he deserves better than that. So if I have to sit here and be uncomfortable and feel like I have to run to the bathroom to be sick, then yeah.”

Nick Dixon: “This doesn’t make you feel comfortable?”

Sharlene: “No.”

Nick Dixon: “It’s unnatural. I understand that. yeah.”
