Ontario won’t meet emission targets

Ontario won’t be able to meet its targets to cut greenhouse gas emissions if it keeps relying on natural gas. That’s according to Environmental Commissioner Gord Miller who released his latest report on greenhouse gases Wednesday.
The report is called “Failing our Future.” Miller says there have been no improvements in emissions from the three biggest sectors — transportation, industry and buildings — since the climate change action plan began in 2007.
