Teen charged with aggravated assault

A 17 year old man has been charged with aggravated assault after what Hamilton Police are calling a serious incident.

Late last night, a 29-year old man was assaulted in an alley near Barton and Cheever streets. Police think the men met at a bar earlier in the evening and had been drinking.

The youth is being held in custody.
