Residents return after Oakville fire

People from all ten floors of a high rise in Oakville have returned to their units after a fire early Friday morning.

They were all evacuated briefly from a building on Queens Avenue just after 5:30 and returned once the smoke was cleared. Two people were treated at the scene for smoke inhalation.

An investigation is still underway but officials say the fire started on a carpet in first floor stairwell.
