Hamilton council OKs King bus lane
The proposal for a bus-only lane on King Street got the green light at Hamilton city council last night.
This means only buses will be allowed to use a designated lane on King Street during peak hours. The lane will stretch from Mary Street to just east of Dundurn.
It’s an attempt to solve traffic gridlock and make public transit more efficient. The $300,000 project will start in September.
